Runner Beans Room
We have some exciting news to share!
We shall be enhancing our setting by creating a fabulous Runner Beans Room.
Our Runner Beans room shall be for children who are rising 4's and we shall focus on getting these children ready for reception class, including but not limited to early literacy, phonics, scribing, writing, mathematical concepts, art, drama, design, creative thinking, emotional resilience, verbal reasoning, cooking, woodwork, arts & crafts, science, music, dance and cultural awareness.
Our Runner Beans room shall open during the core hours (9-3) in the current CP room. (CP are merging with PK’s in May, so we will prepare this room thereafter.)
We shall have a programme that extends, enriches and develops our children to reach their full potential.
Myself and Jerleen have been visiting local schools, and attending training to gather information to improve our knowledge and understanding of the wider curriculum and educational environments the children may move on to.
Sue will be guiding us on this process and we hope some of our teachers will share their wealth of expertise, knowledge and experiences too.
We shall have an open afternoon on 17th May from 4-5.30pm so you can come and take a look.
